BOCA RATON, FLA (Nov. 21, 2012) – The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional completed its fourth day of play in Boca Raton, Fla. The 1997 and 1998 age groups participated and took the field for the second time at Spanish River Athletic Park.
Nearly 300 leading players selected from each of the four regions, in the Under-14 through Under-17 age groups, are exposed to national staff and collegiate coaches in the six-day event, and have the opportunity to demonstrate their playing abilities for selection to the next level of play.
US Youth Soccer ODP, the nation's original player identification program, has continued its tradition of elite competition and player development for more than 30 years, and is the only development program that can claim members of Major League Soccer and the Men’s and Women’s National Teams.
