US Youth Soccer Annual General Meeting

This year's AGM will take place July 25, 2009 in Westford, MA at The Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center. The meeting is being held in conjunction with the US Youth Soccer National Championships. This document contains information regarding registration, hotel accommodations, transportation, and meeting details.
 
I.              REGISTRATION
 
There is no registration fee, so no pre-registration is required. You will be receiving at a later date a memo from Peggy Gawronski, Credentials Chair, outlining the credentials process, as well as a delegate and alternate attendance form and a proxy form. 
 
II.         HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Nightly Room Rate: $119.00 plus tax                                                              
 
Please contact the hotel directly at 978.692.8200  to reserve your room, and ask for the US Youth Soccer AGM rate. Group rates are offered on a space available basis until July 8, 2009. Reservations requested after this date may be available only at standard hotel rates. All reservations must be accompanied by a one night's deposit.
 
III.        TRANSPORTATION
 
A.        AIR TRAVEL

B.        GROUND TRANSPORTATION
 
Westford Car Service is available to and from the airport to the hotel for $85.  You may make advanced reservations by contacting them at 978-692-4994. Taxis are also readily available. The average taxi rate one way is $150. The airport is approximately one hour from the hotel.

VIII.        DIRECTIONS
Directions FROM Logan International Airport in Boston, Mass.:
  • Take the airport exit to the Sumner Tunnel.
  • After the tunnel, take the second ramp on your right to I93 north.
  • Follow I93 north for approximately 17 miles to I495 south. Take exit #32 off of I495 south "Westford, to route 225".
  • At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Boston Road.
  • At the intersection, turn right onto route 110 west.
  • The hotel is located ¼ mile on the right.
Directions TO Logan International Airport in Boston, Mass.
  • Turn left out of the driveway onto route 110 east.
  • At the lights, turn left onto Boston Road.
  • Turn right onto I495 north to I93 south.
  • Stay on route 93 until you reach the Callahan Tunnel exit.
  • Go through the tunnel and then follow the signs to Logan International Airport.
Directions FROM The Westford Regency Inn to the soccer complex:
  • Start out going Northeast on Littleton Rd/MA-110 toward Carlisle Rd. 
  • Turn left onto Boston Rd. 
  • Turn left onto Boston Rd. Merge onto MA-2 W via EXIT 29B toward Leominster. 
  • Take exit 36 toward Shirley Rd./Shirley. 
  • Turn slight right onto Fort Pond Rd. 
  • Turn right onto Shirley Rd. 
  • Turn right onto Old Union Turnpike. 
  • End at 512 Old Union Turnpike, Lancaster, MA 01523-3020.
