U.S. Soccer Foundation Unveils New Application Process for Grants Programs
Letter of Inquiry 1st Step in Simplified, User-Friendly Process
On August 1, 2004, the Foundation unveils its streamlined grants making program with the introduction of a much simplified process for FY 2005 which uses an on-line, two-page Letter of Inquiry (LOI).

All applicants for the FY 2005 grant cycle are required to submit an LOI as a first step in the application process.  The new LOI form provides for an abbreviated, initial review of a program or project in a screening process that is highly competitive.  Unlike the full grant application, there is no fee associated with the submission of an LOI.

Beginning August 1, 2004, interested applicants will access, complete, and submit the LOI to the Foundation via our user-friendly, on-line process.* The LOI will be available on-line until October 15, 2004.

Applicants can expect the LOI review to be completed and notification given within four weeks from the date of submission.

Only those applicants with programs or projects meeting the Foundation's stated focus for the FY 2005 grant cycle will be invited to submit full applications via our on-line process beginning September 15, 2004.*  The full application requires the payment of a $50 fee due upon submission of the completed application.
