Things to Know Before You Register

As you know US Youth Soccer and Kohl's have continued to work together to put on the Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup for the past four years. In 2010, US Youth Soccer and Kohl's plan to continue to provide the same elements as well as some new materials and tools to assist the host organizations in planning successful Kohl's American Cup tournaments. In addition, the Kohl's American Cup T-shirts will see a redesign while at the same time continuing to be sold at around $2.78 per shirt. 
 
US Youth Soccer will continue to be the facilitator of this program working with tournament organizers. Therefore we would like to begin the planning process. Part of that process includes putting together the calendar of events for 2010.

The 2009 Registration form (located on USYouthSoccer.org) can be filled out electronically and emailed back to rknight@usyouthsoccer.org or faxed to 972.334.9960. To be considered in the Kohl's American Cup Soccer Experience Vehicle routing process for the spring schedule, all registration forms must be submitted to US Youth Soccer no later than Monday, Dec. 1, 2009.  To be considered in the routing process for the fall 2010 schedule, all registration forms must be submitted to US Youth Soccer no later than May 3, 2010. Registration forms will be accepted after Dec. 1 or May 3, respectively, but availability of event dates may be limited. You will receive a written confirmation after Rachel Knight has received your registration form. If you do not receive confirmation that means the registration form was not received and will not be placed on the calendar. This will ensure that no one is left out.
 
Based upon the agreement between Kohl's and US Youth Soccer, any tournament designated as a Kohl's American Cup event must have the following elements:
·         Title – Kohl's American Cup
·         5 Kohl's American Cup Tents and 10 Kohl's American Cup Banners
·         Kohl's American Cup Premium Items
 
The selection of tournament dates will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Truck will be assigned to tournaments based on the most efficient route possible and not by how early the registration forms were received.

The 2010 Kohl's American Cup spring schedule will be announced Feb. 1, 2010, via email, and updated continually on the USYouthSoccer.org Web site under the Kohl's American Cup link. 
 
As the facilitator of the Kohl's American Cup events, US Youth Soccer has taken on the responsibility for fulfilling the Kohl's American Cup t-shirt orders. Early t-shirt order forms are always appreciated, the earlier the better! The t-shirt order form will be sent out early next year. However, please note that there no refunds or exchanges allowed once the order has been place.
