Hello again! We're back on the road again and loving it. We began the fall season of the Kohl's American Cup in Shawnee, Kansas. We had a great deal of wind on the drive to Kansas, so we were a bit worried how the weather would turn out for our event weekend. After a few clouds and some winds on Saturday, the sun was out in all of its glory to give us a beautiful Sunday. Our event went fabulously and we had a lot of participants who came to have fun at the Kohl's Interactive Village. Now, since Kris is from Kansas City (not too far from Shawnee) we were able to spend some time with his family. I also got a taste of one of his favorite BBQ restaurants, Smokehouse BBQ. It was quite delicious! We're headed to The Buckeye State next, Ohio that is. Enjoy this beautiful fall weather and we'll catch up with you next week.
