The U.S. Women's National Team played a friendly against Russia last week and we loved seeing all the goals coming from US Youth Soccer alumni.

Soccer in Atlanta



In one of the clearest indications yet that Atlanta could be next in line of a Major League Soccer expansion franchise, Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay told local officials Thursday that his side is "far along in negotiations" with MLS about bringing a team to the city, the league's first foray into the Southeast outside of Florida in league history. The U.S. Women's National Team looks to continue its winning ways in 2014 as it faces off against Russia Saturday, February 8 in Boca Raton, Fla. and then again Tuesday February, 11 in Atlanta.

When I see snow now, the first thing that comes to mind is USA's victory over Costa Rica in the snow. Since it is snowing today in Texas I thought I should pay tribute to this match. Be careful if you are out playing in the snow and make sure to stay warm!
