Yedlin to join Tottenham

The 21-year-old has finalized a move to England’s Tottenham Hotspur, with the Premier League side paying a fee of $3.5 million. Yedlin has signed a four-year contract with the club, but is being allowed to stay with to the Sounders for the remainder of the 2014 season. Read more.

The US U-20 Women's National Team defeated China 3-0 to advance to the World Cup quarterfinals. Lindsey Horan scored a pair of goals while National League and Region II ODP alum Rose Lavelle netted the third. 


Cristiano Ronaldo started his season off with two goals as Real Madrid defeated Sevilla 2-0.
