This winter, the Albany Alleycats player has earned spots on several United States Youth Soccer regional teams and has recently been named to the United States Interregional All-Star Team. She earned that honor in November during a US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program Girls’ Thanksgiving Interregional at Spanish River Athletic Park in Boca Raton, Fla. Read more here.

Brazil Stadium Trouble

Valcke showed real concern about the pace of construction at the Arena da Baixada after visiting the southern city on Tuesday, saying that work there is more than late. He said he believes the stadium will make it, but declined to guarantee it will be part of the tournament that begins in June. Read more here about the stadium problems.
