David Villa to NYCFC is official!


David Villa

The 2015 MLS expansion club on Monday announced Spain's all-time leading scorer, David Villa, as the organization's first player. The 32-year-old, who wlll represent the defending World Cup champions in Brazil this month, joins NYCFC on a three-year deal as a Designated Player. Read more here.

Nike ad reigns supreme



Nike's "Winner Stays" leads the charts in a survey of soccer ads that have popped up ahead of the World Cup. Indeed, Nike, which is not a FIFA sponsor, has three of the top 10 most shared 2014 soccer ads, according to marketing technology platform Unruly.
