Nominees Announced for 2014 Awards Gala

US Youth Soccer is offering a live broadcast of the 2014 US Youth Soccer Awards Gala on Friday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET from Philadelphia. The live stream on will allow all members of the organization unable to attend the event to follow along with the ceremony, as we honor the individuals who have made the past year of US Youth Soccer a great success. Ronaldo named FIFA World Player of the Year

It wasn't hard to tell how much winning the FIFA Ballon d'Or award meant to Cristiano Ronaldo. Upon being named the world's most outstanding soccer player of 2013, Ronaldo teared up during an emotional acceptance speech at the award gala in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday.

ESPN Films, creators of the critically-acclaimed 30 for 30 film series, will premiere a new series in April surrounding the 2014 FIFA World Cup on ESPN. 30 for 30: Soccer Stories will include a mix of standalone feature-length and 30-minute-long documentary films from an award winning group of filmmakers telling compelling narratives from around the international soccer landscape.

USMNT Training

Jurgen Klinsmann has decided to bring all 26 USMNT players to Brazil, where the team will train at Sao Paulo FC for 12 days as part of a "dry run" for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. See the roster here:
