VolunteerSelect — Online Screening Service to Help Ensure the Safety of Your Soccer Players

Signing up for this valuable service is easy. Here are the steps you must follow to screen your volunteers using VolunteerSelect:

Organizations must obtain written authorization from the volunteer who is being screened before beginning the screening process. Click here for a sample consent form. (You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this document. You can download a free copy here.)

New Users: Online Sign-up Process
1. Once you have reviewed all steps in this process click here to begin.
2. Click on the "Sign Up Now" link in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Subscriber Page: Please enter business and contact information in the required fields. PLEASE READ YOUR SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT CAREFULLY.
4. Click "Process My Application" by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.


Processing Your Application: You will be contacted by phone and/or e-mail within 24-48 hours from submission with your new Account Number and Password.

To Order Background Reports:
1. Log onto the secure side of VolunteerSelect by entering your Account Number and Password (which you will create when signing up as a New User) at the top of the VolunteerSelect homepage.
2. To begin a search click on the "Background Screens" link.
3. Click on the "Begin Search" sub-heading. You should see a map of the United States.
4. Click on the state you desire to search - where did the applicant live for a long period of time?
5. The basic package of screening services will already be selected for you, please indicate which, if any, optional add-on search you want to purchase, and then click "Continue Search."
6. Candidate Entry Form - Please enter the applicant's information at this time. Click on "Submit Search" when you are finished.

To View Reports:
1. Log onto the secure side of VolunteerSelect by entering your Account Number and Password at the top of the VolunteerSelect homepage.
2. To retrieve your results, click on the main "Background Screens" link and the "View Reports" subheading.
3. If an organization intends to take or takes adverse action based on the report, they must
