FRISCO, Texas (Feb. 20, 2014) — The schedule has been announced for the final two weekends of US Youth Soccer National League play in Las Vegas, where 16 division titles will be decided. Boys’ games will be played March 14-16 at Heritage Park in Henderson, Nev., while the girls wrap up their season March 21-23 at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex in Las Vegas. The games will be played alongside the Player’s College Showcase, as the National League teams have another opportunity to compete in front of collegiate and national team coaches while playing meaningful matches against top competition.

Half of the teams in each of the Boys and Girls Under-15 through Under-18 divisions wrapped up their season in December and January in Orlando, Fla. The remaining teams — including all Under-14 sides — will complete their season in Las Vegas.

2013-2014 National League Las Vegas Schedules:  Girls | Boys

The National League is the most competitive league available in the country, and is an extension of the highly successful US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues (US Youth Soccer Region I Premier League, Midwest Regional League, Region III Premier League and Far West Regional League). National League teams are among the best in the nation and each team has had to earn their place in the league with a proven track record of success in US Youth Soccer regional and national competition, regardless of club affiliation or location.

The National League provides an avenue for teams to play in meaningful matches against top competition from across the country for continued development and opportunities for exposure at the national team, collegiate and professional levels. In addition to recruiting opportunities, the top two finishers from each division (Blue and Red) will earn a ticket to the 2014 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Germantown, Md., making each match valuable to the team's fate as it could make or break their chance at competing for the National Championship.  The top two finishers in the Under-14, 15, 16 and 17 age groups will also earn an automatic spot in the 2014-2015 National League season.

Just six Boys teams and three Girls teams have solidified a top-two finish in their division and a place in the National Championships. Entering play in Las Vegas, 31 spots — 14 for the Boys and 17 for the girls — are still up for grabs, as a majority of the teams head into the event with hopes of punching a ticket to Germantown, Md.
