Soccer for Success is the U.S. Soccer Foundation's innovative youth development program that uses soccer as a tool to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles for underserved youth in low-income urban communities. Rachel Wilton runs this great program in South Seattle for over 1,200 low-income children who otherwise would not have access to soccer programs.
With the $10,000 donation, we can add 2 new Soccer for Success sites at elementary schools for an entire year. We will be able to provide 100 children with a healthy snack after school, create opportunities for family and community engagement, and supply over 144 hours of soccer and mentorship.
