Background Checks: Club Admins, Coaches, Managers
In order to protect and provide a safe and healthful environment to children participating in SDYSA’s sanctioned soccer clubs, leagues, programs, and tournaments, all SDYSA employees, coaches, assistant coaches, team managers or any other volunteer who is expected to have regular contact with youth players must complete a Risk Management Disclosure. It must be filled out at the start of your involvement with players/teams and needs to be redone each fall as long as you are involved with players in any capacity.
Background checks are valid on a soccer "year" basis (August 1st – July 31st).
Individuals need to complete the Risk Management Disclosure one time per soccer 'year' between August 1st - July 31st.
