Indiana Soccer, the Central Indiana Adult Soccer Association (CIASA) and Indy Eleven Professional Soccer are proud to assist the Achoch family in hosting a unique event close to Indy Eleven’s heart. October 5th from 11:00am to 4:30pm will be an afternoon of soccer and entertainment, which is designed to raise funds for the start-up of the Felix Achoch Sports Foundation (FASF). This not-for-profit organization will be launched with the hope of providing young athletes opportunities both in sports and in the classroom, a dream that Felix, a bright and talented 21-year-old Kenya native and Indianapolis resident, was living before his life was taken far too soon this past July. For more information on Felix and the foundation being created on his behalf please visit
In conjunction with the event, Soccer Salvation will hold an equipment donation drive to collect new and gently-used soccer gear.  Soccer Salvation is an Indiana-based non-profit organization that assists underprivileged youth by collecting donated soccer gear (cleats, balls, shin guards, sets of jerseys, shorts, socks, goalie gloves etc.) and distributes gear across the globe to individuals and teams that need assistance. The main focus of the day will be on the field, as three 60-to-70 minute exhibition games will take place, with several of the teams featuring former teammates of Felix Achoch, who was a popular fixture in leagues across the Indianapolis area. In addition, to help drive more traffic to the event, Indy Eleven will host a two-hour Season Ticket Open House event, featuring autograph and photo opportunities with the team’s first-ever player signing, while local musicians will also entertain attendees during breaks throughout the five-hour affair.
Indiana Soccer will be there representing the adult sector,  giving away promotional items and offering its discount card to  those that want to contribute to the association outreach programs such as TOPSoccer, Soccer Across America, Olympic Development Program and Coaching Education.
