Back to News INDIANA ODP 1996 GIRLS OBTAINING 2nd PLACE AT THE US YOUTH SOCCER ODP CHAMPIONSHIP February 26, 2013 11:05 PM RECAP 1996 Girls (Semifinal Match) Indiana defeated Georiga, 3-0, in their semifinal matchup. Kellee O’Shaughnessy put Indiana up when she found the back of the net in the 21st minute. Emily Coudret doubled the lead with a 51st minute goal, and O’Shaughnessy capped the scoring with a left-footed strike in the 84th minute to give Indiana the 3-0 victory. 1996 Girls (Final Match) The Cal South 1996 Girls used an early goal and solid defense to earn their second straight title with a 3-0 win over Indiana. Hailey Harbison opened the scoring with a 4th-minute goal. The teams battled for much of the match before two wonderful strikes in the final 10 minutes of play from Chloe Hemingway and Christina Settles put the game out of reach and secured the championship repeat for Cal South.
