2004 Girls Olivia Kalil gives her thoughts:

This weekend overall was one to remember.  First of all the campus, Edinboro University,  we stayed on was amazing. I loved the rooms and the food was great.  The rooms even had air conditioning which made it even better.  From my perspective my team played amazing.  I felt like the whole team bonded over these few days.  I enjoyed the bus rides with the team.  It’s fun to be with my teammates and spend the time with them off the field.  It was super fun playing in Pennsylvania.

Coach’s thoughts:

Our teams all did a nice job of playing out of the back.  Whether it started from a Goalkeeper’s hands or back line we tried to play good soccer.   We had two players get four goals each on the weekend which was nice to see and as a group scored 56 goals in 24 games.  We had an ability to change the point of attack that helped us take advantage of number up situations with quick switches.  Our center backs and center mids were very strong in controlling and directing the play.

Our players acted with respect and manners throughout the weekend.  They cleaned up after themselves when finished with meals and kept common areas cleaned up.  They were prompt when asked to be somewhere and were ready to go.

These trips allow our players to be taken out of their home environment and represent their state.  These players enjoy wearing Indiana across the chest of the jersey and have made the state of Indiana proud in how they carried themselves.
