Back to News Indiana ODP Head Coaches 2010-2011 August 16, 2010 04:03 AM Indiana Olympic Development Program 2010-2011 Coaching Staff Announced Indiana Soccer and the Indiana Olympic Development Program are pleased to announce the Head Coaches for the 2010-2011 Season. The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) provides high-level training to benefit and enhance the development of players at all levels and develops a mechanism for the exchange of ideas and curriculum to improve all levels of coaching. Highly-skilled players identified through the ODP program may earn opportunities to compete at Regional or National levels. For the 2010-2011 ODP year the Indiana Olympic Development Program will offer programming for boys and girls players born in 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995 and 1994. The following head coaches will serve as the leaders for each age group and will work closely with the Indiana Director of the Olympic Development Program and the Age Group Staff in developing and implementing an age group appropriate curriculum: Boys ODP Age Groups   Girls ODP Age Groups Director of Goalkeeping: Mike Sanich Director of Goalkeeping: Mike Sanich 1999: Brian Eagle 1999: Mike Aycock 1998 Younger: Danny Jeftich   1998 Younger: Idu Ikudabo 1998 Older: Todd Sheeley   1998 Older: Emory Schlake 1997 Younger: Bryce Cooper   1997 Younger: Nick Magdalinos 1997 Older: Tony Hriczo   1997 Older: Mike Beckner 1996: Vangel Nacovski 1996: Craig Roberts 1995: Steven Cox   1995: Bryan Michel 1994: Davey Lopez   1994: John Marovich “Indiana Soccer is extremely fortunate to have these outstanding coaches who are willing to commit their time, energy and leadership to the development of players from the state of Indiana through the Olympic Development Program” comments John Carter, Director of the Indiana Olympic Development Program. “The head coaches named have the ability to design, lead, and implement training sessions based on an appropriate age group curriculum to challenge and develop players, as well as select players to represent Indiana at the Region II Camp in the summer of 2011. They all share the vision that development should be at the forefront of the Olympic Development curriculum. I am excited to work with an outstanding staff in assisting the players from Indiana to continue to be challenged at the highest levels.” John Carter also states, “Indiana Olympic Development Program recognizes the need for specialized, unique, and innovated Goalkeeper training. I am extremely excited that Mike Sanich has agreed to lead the development of our goalkeepers. Mike Sanich has been a leader of goalkeeper development, not only in the state of Indiana but also nationally.
