INDIANA SOCCER WELCOMES PLAYERS FROM THE 1999 BIRTH YEAR TO THE OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Indiana Soccer is excited to announce the forming of the 1999 Olympic Development Program State Pool for both boys and girls. John Carter, newly appointed director of Indiana ODP has implemented a new format to the Olympic Development Program for our state.
Within the new format of our program, we are going to allow players born in 1999 to have an opportunity to be a part of the State Pool immediately beginning with the August 29th
(Phase 1) training date. Players who were born in 1999 and sign up for Phase 1 before the second training session on September 12, 2010 will be allowed to be a part of the State Pool for the 2010-2011 season. After the September 12th
date, players will need to be identified through the District Training program or through the Indiana Olympic Development scouting program to be invited into the State Pool. All information about these programs can be accessed via the Indiana Soccer website under the ODP tab. Click on www.soccerindiana.org
, hover over the ODP tab and click on State Pool.
Players that want to sign up and register for the State Pool 2010-2011 season must do the following prior to Sept. 12, 2010:
1. Go online to register for Phase 1 ($75) including paying online or mailing a check to Indiana Soccer (Attn: Joy 5440 Herbert Lord Road Indy, IN 46216)
2. Go online to order and pay for your player’s pool kit (remember that your pool kit will not be pulled until payment is complete)
Full Address (please include city & zip)
Primary Email (one that doesn’t change)

Cell Phone Number (not the player’s, but one for an emergency if needed)
T-shirt size (adult small is the smallest)
Short size (in case they get selected to the ODP Team in April; again adult small is the smallest)

Players that choose to attend district training rather than starting in the state pool on August 29th or September 12th need to read the information about district training on the Indiana Soccer website under the ODP tab District Training. Players that choose this route may not order a pool kit until they have been invited into the state pool.
This is a great opportunity for players born in 1999 to get involved with the Indiana Soccer Olympic Development Program. Please go to www.soccerindiana.org
, click on the ODP tab and read about our program. If you have any questions, please contact Joy Carter, ODP administrator (firstname.lastname@example.org
