Back to News Indiana Youth Soccer Launches New Website December 17, 2009 10:53 PM Just in time for the holiday season, Indiana Youth Soccer has launched a new website at www.indianayouthsoccer.org. The completely revamped website includes an enhanced design, improved navigational capabilities and additional feature capabilities such as a centralized video library, photo galleries, chat and blog capabilities and more. Indiana Youth Soccer teamed with industry-leader Americaneagle.com to develop a new website by focusing on the needs of the end-user through a clean design, simple navigation, and an expanded offering of resources and tools. With over 5,000 websites completed since 1995 for a variety of consumers including corporate, government, entertainment and professional sports teams, Americaneagle.com brings professionalism and experience in the world of technology to the soccer industry. Current clients include both US Youth Soccer and Oregon Youth Soccer. “To better serve the membership, Indiana Youth Soccer contracted with Americaneagle.com to develop a user-focused website, offering a more robust selection of tools and resources in an efficient, visually-pleasing environment,” said Shannon Stuart, Director of Communications for Indiana Youth Soccer. At the heart of the new website design is more efficient navigation system which provides easier access to information. The site features a single, horizontal navigation menu which is categorized by departments, programs, events and services. The site was developed using a navigational structure with embedded key text links that easily transport the user to related-topic content. The homepage features news, upcoming events, a multi-media library, and more. It serves as a portal to the website while the intuitive navigation system guides users to desired content with a minimum number of clicks. The video library and image galleries will be expanded in coming months to feature a variety or resources for coaches, parents and administrators. The new site also offers blog, moderated chat and social networking compatibility as additional forums for the membership. Users can also expect expanded accessibility and improved efficiency. Americaneagle.com and Indiana Youth Soccer have worked together to optimize all elements of the site – graphics, programming, structure – for quick download and information search. The site has also been designed for compatibility with multiple browsers and platforms, including PC and Mac computers, Netscape and IE browsers 6.0 and beyond, AOL, Mozilla Firefox, and a minimum of 56K modem. “Based on feedback from the membership, the entire website has been redesigned and restructured to better meet the user’s everyday needs. From better navigation to faster download times, Indiana Youth Soccer is striving to make the website a more complete and effective tool,” said Stuart.
