Virginia's Eric Reed honored
Boston (Feb. 17, 2012) – Eric Reed of McLean, Va., was honored as the 2011 US Youth Soccer Administrator of the Year award recipient tonight at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the 2012 US Youth Soccer Workshop in Boston.
As treasurer of McLean Youth Soccer, Eric Reed has played a pivotal role in bringing the club to a healthy financial position, enabling strategic investments in field improvements. Reed brought modern business and financial practices to a club with more than 3,500 players from nearly 2,500 families and a budget of nearly $2.5 million. Reed has also served on the McLean Youth Soccer Board of Directors for almost five years.
The recipient of the Administrator of the Year award is selected by the US Youth Soccer Board of Directors. The Administrator of the Year Award honors the extraordinary accomplishments in administration over a career.
