2011 US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional schedule announced

Nearly 300 of nation's top players in girls youth soccer will converge on the campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., for the annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program
(US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional. Teams from US Youth Soccer's four regions will compete Nov. 20-25, 2011. Regional teams are comprised of players selected from US Youth Soccer State Association and regional level evaluations.
Continuing its tradition of elite competition and player development, youth from the nation's top player identification program, US Youth Soccer ODP, will train and compete in front of national staff and collegiate coaches to maximize their exposure for selection to the next level of play. More US Youth Soccer ODP players have been called into Youth National Team camps than any other ID program, including 129 of 148 players called into U-14, U-15, U-17 and U-18 camps since September 2011.
The 2011 US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional will include teams from ages 1994-1997. The 1996 and 1997 age groups will play two 40-minute halves, while the 1994 and 1995 age group will play two 45-minute halves. In accordance with FIFA standards, teams will be allowed seven substitutes with no re-entry.
