Healthy Kids Out of School, an initiative of ChildObesity180, today launches the Healthy Kids Hub website (www.HealthyKidsHub.org) to support out-of-school programs in promoting healthy snacks and physical activity through customized, evidence-based tools and resources. US Youth Soccer is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the fifth term of US Youth Soccer William J. “Billy” Goaziou Scholarships. The memory of Goaziou, who was involved in soccer for more than 25 years a coach and administrator, is honored with two one-year scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to be awarded to one male and one female attending a post-secondary education institution for the first time in fall 2013. The US Youth Soccer Region I Premier League for boys and girls teams in the Under-13 through Under-18 age groups will begin play this weekend. The US Youth Soccer Region I Premier Leagues provide an opportunity for the most competitive teams in Region I (East) to play each other on a scheduled basis while also competing for placement in the prestigious US Youth Soccer Region I Championships.
