The sixth season of US Youth Soccer National League play kicks off Thursday in Wilson, N.C. when all 64 girls teams in the Under-15 through Under-18 age groups meet to begin the season.

The rosters and schedule have been released for the annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Boys 1995 and 1996 NCAA Interregional, which will take place Dec. 7-9 at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex in Birmingham, Ala. The nation’s top boys in the 1995 and 1996 birth years will compete in the event, which is held in conjunction with the NCAA Division I College Cup Championships to provide greater exposure of these elite players to collegiate and national teams.

Teams from each of the four regions, comprised of nearly 150 the nation’s top players selected from US Youth Soccer State Association and regional level evaluations, will participate in the event.

The US Youth Soccer membership recently elected new board members at the Annual General Meeting at Charlotte Marriott Executive Park in Charlotte N.C., held in conjunction with the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Rock Hill, S.C.

Champions were crowned and trophies raised at the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. Drama, disappointment and delight were all on display at the Cherry Island Soccer Complex in Sacramento, Calif. Region IV led the way with five champions on the day. Region III claimed two titles and Region I claimed one.
