FRISCO, Texas (April 29, 2009) – US Youth Soccer is proud to announce the dates and locations for the regional and finals events for the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup, which provide a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level.
"US Youth Soccer is always eager to offer its players additional opportunities to advance and compete at levels that contribute to the individual growth of players. The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers that unique experience by incorporating camaraderie, community and competition through the great game of soccer," said Ed Loucks, committee chairman of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup.
Taking place this June, each US Youth Soccer region will host regional qualifiers, known as US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events, to determine the teams competing in the Presidents Cup Finals, July 16-18, 2009, in Raleigh, N.C., at the WRAL Soccer Complex. The Finals feature boys and girls teams in the Under-14 through Under-17 age groups.
Each US Youth Soccer State Association determines the path through which its state teams advance to the Regional Presidents Cup competitions.
