The Nevada Youth Soccer Association has an immediate opening for the position of State Director of Coaching (SDOC). If you know of qualified individuals within your association who may be interested in applying for this position, please pass this notice along to them.
The SDOC for the Nevada Youth Soccer Association (NYSA) is primarily responsible for administering the coaching education and licensing program, the Olympic Development Program, and assisting with the administration of the Nevada National Championship Series tournament. Other duties and responsibilities are listed in the job description for the SDOC as contained in the Policies section of the NYSA Constitution, Bylaws and Policies as posted on the NYSA website (

Salary and benefits for this position are competitive for state associations of similar size, and final levels of compensation will be determined by NYSA and the successful candidate.
Qualified applicants must possess a current "A"" license, and should have direct experience in the areas noted above. Since this is an immediate opening, applicants should be available to begin work on or about November 1, 2009. All applicants will be subject to a thorough background check.
