Learn the Diski and Enter to Win a Grand Prize Trip to Play a Match in South Africa – Home of the 2010 FIFA World Cup
Contest open now through December 13, 2009
South African Tourism (SAT) is celebrating the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and plans to get everyone Diski dancing their way to the World Cup!
The Diski dance is based on South Africa's unique way of playing soccer – it's rhythmic, showy, energetic, and above all, great fun. In partnership with US Youth Soccer, SAT has launched a viral Web video contest around the Diski.
The fabulous grand prize is a trip to South Africa for an entire youth soccer team - parents and coach included, for 8 days/7 nights. The trip includes visits to Johannesburg and Cape Town, a game park and a match against a South African youth soccer team, possibly in one of the World Cup stadiums.
All you need to do is learn the Diski dance moves, feel the rhythm of South Africa, and upload your video at
www.southafrica.net/dance.
The contest began onFriday, September 25, 2009, and runs through Sunday, December 13, 2009.
Teams may have a minimum of 10 members and a maximum of 15 members, ages 8 through 14, and must be affiliated with organized leagues or organizations such as US Youth Soccer. Learn more about the
contest rules.
The winning youth soccer team will be announced in mid-January 2010.
