Position: Part Time Developmental Director (U5-U8)
Salary: $11,000/year + Bonuses
Bonuses:
1. 1/3 of all developmental camp intake minus expenses
2. Bonus Structure - TBD
License: USSF "D" License or equivalent. Anything above a USSF "D" is a plus.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Prior Experience:
1. Coaching youth aged soccer
2. Playing soccer competitively for 10+ years
About Skyline:
Skyline Soccer Association is a non-profit premier soccer club in the Southeast Denver area. The club has been around for 40+ years and continues to grow. Currently we are looking to fill a part time position within our club running our ever expanding Development program (ages 4 – 8). This person will specifically manage 600+ players and coaches. This person will be very people oriented and will do what is necessary to get the job done. Specifically, they will bring in new ideas to make our program even better. This person must be open to work from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday - Friday and from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays during the season. Also, must be available to work some days, specifically during camps.
Note: This is a part-time position, but should not be pushed to the side as a 2nd job. This job will need to be considered a priority in the hours that are expected.
Job Description:
· Participate in all Club Coaching requirements as mandated by DOC and GM.
· Implement the Skyline curriculum to all U5 – U8 teams and coaches. Follow up with any questions regarding the curriculum.
· Design age specific session plans for coaches to implement at practice.
· Organize, manage and oversee in-season camps (Friday Night Camps).
· Be direct point of contact for all Developmental coaches answering all questions about the season, team formation, practices, games, net schedules, referees and parent volunteers.
· Implement, organize and manage all Developmental camps during the summer season.
· Implement coaching education for all new and returning coaches.
· Develop in school programs designed specifically for the 3-8 year old individual.
· Manage all volunteer coaches for the U5 – U8 age group.
· Run preseason meeting with all coaches, referees and answer all questions pertaining to you from parents.
· Assist in all general administration work as directed by GM or DOC.
· Attend monthly board meetings.
· Help manage fall soccer tournament.
· Create and manage all game schedules and net schedules.
· Be an easily accessible person, maintaining good rapport with coaches, parents and players.
· Assist in other work that is to be determined.

Hours:
Fall Season – August -November
· Field/office: 17 Hours per week
o On field Mon-Fri: 10 hours per week
o On field Saturday: 5 hours
o Office: 2 hours per week
Total Hours: 204 hours (12 weeks)
Winter – November - March
· Office/marketing:
o School program: 3 hours per week
o Email/calls: 3 hours per week
o Office/general marketing and advertising: 2 hours per week
Total Hours: 128 Hours (16 weeks)
Spring – March –May
· Field/office: 17 hours per week
o On field Mon-Fri: 10 hours per week
o On field Saturday: 5 hours
o Office: 2 hours per week
o Assist in tryouts: 8 hours
Total Hours: 212 hours (12 weeks)
Summer – May-August
· Office/marketing and advertising/camps
o Work 2 summer Camps (30 Hours)
o Email/calls: 3 hours per week
o Office/general marketing and advertising: 5 hours per week
Total Hours: 126 Hours (12 weeks)
Approximate hours per year: 670
