Parents, do you know how to identify an out-of-control coach? In this month's Positive Parenting article, Bad Coaches Ruin Sports, Tom Kuyper shares 10 ways to verify if your loved-one's coach is being a less than stellar role model. Kuyper's top two ways are: 2) the coach threatens kids with hard practices for playing poorly, and 1) the coach yells too much at the referee.
