Under-14 through Under-17 Boys and Girls to compete for spot at National Presidents Cup
National finals event location to be named in December
FRISCO, Texas (Nov. 18, 2009) – US Youth Soccer announces the dates and locations for the regional events of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup, which provides a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup level.
"US Youth Soccer is always eager to offer its players additional opportunities to advance and compete at levels that contribute to the individual growth of players. The US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events are proof of that commitment, providing rewarding experiences to thousands of players who become fans of the game for life," said Ed Loucks, committee chairman of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup. "The Presidents Cup offers a unique experience by incorporating camaraderie, community and competition through the great game of soccer."
The regional qualifiers determine the teams in the Under-14 through Under-17 Boys and Girls age groups that will advance to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 8-11. The location of the National Presidents Cup will be announced on USYouthSoccer.org at a later date.
Each US Youth Soccer State Association determines the path through which its state teams advance to the regional competitions.
