DESCRIPTION
This position in US Youth Soccer will be responsible for the administration of all programs within the coaching education department. The successful candidate for this position will be a self-starter; have excellent communication skills; be highly organized and skilled at multi-tasking.

This position has the following major responsibilities:

Coaching Education Administration
* Administrative coaching contact for US Soccer, the Regions, the State Associations and all US Youth Soccer members.
* Organize all coaching education events.
* Maintain database of candidates for all coaching education events.
*Order and ship staff gear and event equipment to appropriate sites.
* Logistics liaison to all course site coordinators.
* Create, modify, review and file all coaching education paperwork.
* Maintain and modify coaching educational materials.

Coaches Connection
* Administer the new member and renewal application process.
* Administrative contact for all members.
* Maintain database of membership.
* Order and ship products to members.
* Prepare and send monthly emails to all members.

Miscellaneous
* Provide administrative support to coaching education department.
* Fulfill all other tasks as assigned.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

* Good working knowledge of youth soccer.
* Extensive experience working with volunteers.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Highly organized and skilled at multi-tasking.
* Excellent computer skills; specifically: Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
* Capable of administering home office Coaching Department programs when the National Director of Coaching Education and the Assistant Directors of Coaching Education are in the field.
* College degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.

The Program Assistant for the Coaching Education Department will report to the US Youth Soccer National Director of Coaching Education. We are presently located in Richardson but will be relocating to Frisco in April 2005.
