New York State West Youth Soccer Association will host a nine-day residential USSF National C License coaching course May 3-11 and a six-day residential National Youth License Course August 23-28 at the Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York.
This is the second time in three years that New York State West has been granted the approval to host this course, and it gives all New York State West National D license coaches the opportunity to earn their C license without traveling out of state.
Applicants for the C course must be at least 18 years of age and hold a National D License for a minimum of 12 months. A copy of the National D license must be attached to the C application. The National D license may be waived by U.S. Soccer ONLY under one of the following circumstances:
- Applicant holds a NSCAA National Diploma and has held it for a minimum of 12 months. [Copy must be attached to application]
- Applicant has three years coaching experience and, either three years playing experience with the US National teams, or three years professional playing experience.
All waiver requests must be sent to the U.S. Soccer National Office in Chicago for approval. Proof of playing contracts must be attached.
The cost of the course is $795 for New York State West Coaches Association Members, while the cost for non-members is $840. Fee includes all tuition and course materials, eight nights accommodation, and breakfast, lunch and dinner for the duration of the course.
The commuter fee for members is $595, while non-members must pay $640.
New York State West will also host a six-day residential National Youth License Course August 23-28 at the Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, that will cover the Under-6, Under-8, Under-10, and Under-12 Modules.
Applicants for this course must be at least 18 years of age and hold a National D license. The National D certification may be waived only if the applicant has the approval of the State Director of Coaching to attend the course.
The cost of the course for New York State West Coaches Association Members is $550, while non-members must pay $595.
The commuter fee for members is $450, while non-members pay $495.
The course fee includes ALL tuition and course materials, five nights accommodation, and breakfast, lunch and dinner for the duration of the course.
These courses will fill up fast. Places will be granted on a first received basis.

To hold a place on the course a non-refundable $200 deposit may be sent to the New York State West Office. The final balance is payable in full by March 31, 2003 for the C license and June 30 for the Youth License.
If the course fills with full fee paying candidates prior to you paying the balance then your deposit will be refunded in full.
