The inaugural US Youth Soccer National League Director's Cup, presented by adidas, was a great success in 2003 as the culminating event for the National Leagues operated during the summer, featuring top boys and girls teams in the Under-13 through Under-18 age groups. The Director's Cup is also the first US Youth Soccer national event to include the Under-13 age bracket. With the addition of this age group, US Youth Soccer continues its commitment to developing young players, while helping to ensure the future success of the U.S. National team program.
