Coaches Connection Newsletter Updated for New Year

US Youth Soccer's Coaches Connection, a membership opportunity for coaches, referees, administrators and parents, to further the education of those involved with youth soccer, recently launched a new HTML based Connections newsletter.

Each month Coaches Connection members receive a newsletter with age appropriate lesson plans and tips for coaches, referees, administrators and parents.

“I think it is a great resource and tool for coaches who work with children of all age groups,” said Gary Curreri, director of youth development for Team Boca girls who had a record six teams reach the US Youth Soccer Florida State Cup final four with three winning state championships in 2004. “I always encourage the coaches in our club to use the Coaches Connection to help supplement their knowledge. It is very informative and keeps pace with the current philosophies of developing today's youth and I really like the new HTML format, it's very easy to read.”

“Gary is a great example of a Coaches Connection member,” said Sam Snow, director of coaching education for US Youth Soccer. “Our members range from the coaches who were just handed their whistles to coaches like Gary, who holds a B as well as the National Youth License and is a member of the Florida Youth Soccer Association's State Coaching Staff for the past twenty-one years. The Coaches Connection is for anyone involved in the youth soccer community and wants to stay connected.”

Not only do the monthly lesson plans aid in developing your training sessions, the subscription to Success in Soccer, the magazine for winning soccer will further your knowledge of the game.
