Barcelona, Spain—The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls 1991 Region III travelled to Barcelona, Spain, March 18 – 23, to compete in the Lloret Cup 2008. US Youth Soccer Region III took the championships title going undefeated in tournament play. They also won three of their four friendly matches prior to the tournament.
The team took time throughout the week to go sightseeing around Barcelona and to visit the NOU CAMP, which is home to Barcelona FC. Wednesday they toured the stadium, NOU CAMP, and attended the Barcelona v. Valladolid game on Sunday.
