SOCCER AMERICA INTERVIEWS Tobin Heath, one of the most skillful players to enter the women's college ranks. In 2006, she was part of a spectacular freshman class that led North Carolina to the national championship. Just back from the Olympics, where she was part of the U.S. gold-medal team, Heath calls the '08 Tar Heels a "special team."

Why your team will win the College Cup?
We have a special team this year. We have a lot of talented freshman that are contributing and getting lots of minutes. We also got a lot of starters back. The team chemistry is incredible. We're really coming together on the field. Hopefully, we can continue and peak at the right time.
Biggest area of improvement needed to win College Cup?
Finishing. We need to be more composed in the final third.
Greatest asset as a player?
I'm comfortable on the ball. I like going 1 v 1 at players.
Biggest weakness as a player?
I could use some work on my defensive mentality.
Best advice you received when you entered college?
Live in the dorms.
Advice you gave your freshmen about Coach Dorrance?
I would tell them don't let any coach determine how good you're going to be. That's a direct quote from [U.S. women's coach] Pia [Sundhage].
I don't have one. I'm kind of a random person.
I don't have any rituals I guess.
Favorite hangout when you're back home?
Home, my house, the kitchen.
Favorite hangout on campus or in town?
Fondest memories-playing high school or youth soccer?
Winning the 2003 (US Youth Soccer) National Championship with my club team.
18 or 21-what should the drinking age be?
I don't really have an answer. I don't drink. I guess 18.
Obama or McCain-whom do you support?
Tough one. McCain.
