DALLAS, Texas (Friday, December 12, 2008)
– Elite play among the Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 Boys US Youth Soccer National League teams continued at the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex in Dallas today. Competition heated up as some posted their first wins of the weekend.

"The US Youth Soccer National League 2008-2009 season will encompass six weekends of competition and play dates tied in with both Men's and Women's Division I College Cups," said Paul Luchowski, US Youth Soccer National League Commissioner. "For college coaches the League offers recruiting to some of the top players in the country. Here in Dallas, having our League games in such a close proximity to the college finals creates another big benefit to our League players."

The National League games are being held at the same time as the NCAA Men's College Cup. Tonight and tomorrow night, National League players have the opportunity to attend College Cup matches.

Steve Nichols, head coach of the Baltimore Casa Mia Bays, said, "I am really excited. I coached five kids that play at Maryland, two at Wake Forrest and one at North Carolina. I am looking forward to seeing all my guys tonight. It is great when we come here and compete in the National League, then watch former players play in the final four is unbelievable. We are looking forward to it. And these guys are obviously inspiring to be where those guys are. Basically, it is an opportunity to see what it looks like at the next level."
