FRISCO, Texas (June 10, 2009) – US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events are ready in three of the four US Youth Soccer Regions. The Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level.
Presidents Cup events begin tomorrow in Region IV (West) in Tri-Cities, Wash. Region II (Midwest) and Region III (South) kickoff on Friday, June 11, in Madison, Wis., and Greer, S.C., respectively. Region I Presidents Cup begins play on Saturday, June 20 in Kirkwood, Del.
Each US Youth Soccer region will host regional qualifiers, known as US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events, to determine the teams competing in the Presidents Cup Finals, July 16-18, 2009, in Raleigh, N.C., at the WRAL Soccer Complex. The Finals feature boys and girls teams in the Under-14 through Under-17 age groups.
Each US Youth Soccer State Association determines the path through which its state teams advance to the Regional Presidents Cup competitions.
