FRISCO, Texas (November 3, 2009) – Las Vegas, Nev. will host the Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup, the largest recreational youth soccer tournament in the United States, at the Silver Bowl Soccer Complex, November 7-8.  The Region IV Under-6 through Under-16 age groups participating in the Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup will bring together 100 teams on 15 soccer fields for the second annual soccer tournament held in Las Vegas, Nev.

 

Kohl's American Cup offers youth soccer players an opportunity to play in a high-quality tournament in a fun, family-like atmosphere.  The program was started in 2000 as an avenue to highlight recreational soccer players and promote fair play.  Players receive equal opportunities and benefits within their level of play, with an emphasis on participation, rather than competition.

 

This event is one of over 60 Kohl's American Cup tournaments being held from February to December. All tournaments are open to players registered with a US Youth Soccer State Association recreational league.

 

Admission to Kohl's American Cup is free.
