FRISCO, Texas (May 26, 2010) – US Youth Soccer, the nation's largest youth sports association, named Kim Goggans as the organization's director of marketing.
Goggans has been with US Youth Soccer for over six years, initially hired in 2004 as the marketing manager and promoted to senior marketing manager in 2009. Her previous experience with marketing, promotion and nonprofit, along with her experience with US Youth Soccer have prepared her for the new challenges associated with the leadership role.
"Over the past six years Kim has helped develop our organization's marketing department and shown tireless dedication and expertise in the marketing and promotion of US Youth Soccer," said Jim Cosgrove, executive director of US Youth Soccer. "She is a great asset to our organization and any one that has worked with Kim knows her passion for US Youth Soccer and extending the brand and benefits to the membership."
"I have always been a champion of causes that benefit kids and US Youth Soccer has afforded me the opportunity to do what I love," said Goggans. "I look forward to many more years of building US Youth Soccer and getting children involved."

Prior to joining US Youth Soccer, Goggans worked for nine years with 106.1 KISS FM (KHKS) and Kidd's Kids, a nonprofit organization established to help children with chronic or terminal illness and/or physically challenged children and their families.
Goggans received her bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1995.
