FRISCO, Texas (Feb. 21, 2011)
 – The US Youth Soccer National League Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 Boys competing this weekend solidified their standings today at Weston Regional Park in Weston, Fla.

After Concorde Fire Elite (GA) clinched the U-16 Boys Red division Saturday, another group was decided today as TSC 94 Black (OK) and Javanon 94 (KY) met to decide the U-17 Blue title. Needing only a draw, TSC held on to earn a 1-1 tie after Javanon evened the game with 20 minutes to play, and TSC earned a spot in the 2011 US Youth Soccer National Championships July 27-31 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Four of the six Boys groups are still up for grabs and will be decided after the final weekend of play March 18-20 at the 2011 Player's Soccer Showcase in Las Vegas.

Some highlights from today's matches…

Under-15 Boys

OBGC Rangers (MD) did all they could do on the weekend to put pressure on previous Blue division leaders, FC Dallas Premier (N-TX), and take the title themselves. Rangers went three-for-three with their 3-1 victory over Lonestar 96 Red (S-TX), meaning only FC Dallas, the only team to defeat Rangers, can overtake them. FC Dallas will need to win two of three games next month in Las Vegas to take the championship. Jeremy Ebobisse leads all scorers after goals in the 15th and 65th minutes for Rangers today. Karl Brown added one of his own in the 21st and Malik Morgan notched Lonestar's only goal in the 65th.

In the Red division, Lehigh Valley United 95 (E-PA), LAFC Houstonians 96 (S-TX) and Team America 95 Stripes (VA) all failed to earn enough points to jump idle leader Classics Eagles Red (OH-S), meaning the championship is up for grabs in Las Vegas.

Under-16 Boys
Lake Grove United (E-NY) defeated Reston Knights FC (VA) 2-0 on a brace from Evan Miller, but Everest SC Black (OH-N) also won 2-0 over CESA 94 Premier (SC) with goals from James Haupt and Ronnie Moss, meaning Everest assumes the Blue division lead. However, Everest will have an eye on Las Vegas as all four teams competing there can at least draw level in points.

After clinching the group on Saturday and dropping their first game of the season yesterday, Concorde Fire Elite (GA) finished strong with a 5-3 victory over Beachside (CT). Keith Bond and Patrick Connolly put Beachside in front early with goals in the 5th and 11th minutes, but Cameron Moseley went off for three goals in six minutes starting in the 15th to put Concorde in the lead. Tyler Alexander added another for the Fire in the 37th and Shaban Abousaud made it five in the 53rd before Pieter Zenner grabbed one last goal for Beachside in the 79th.

Under-17 Boys
The final game of the season for TSC 94 Black (OK) and Javanon 94 (KY) turned into the Blue division championship with TSC needing only a draw to claim the title. Thomas Carwile put TSC ahead in the 58th minute to give them some breathing room, but Lindo Mfeka netted in the 70th for Javanon to put the final 20 minutes on edge. The game would end at 1-1, giving TSC the championship and a berth in this summer's US Youth Soccer National Championships.

With a win today, Dallas Texans Red-Dallas (N-TX) could force Rush Nike Argonauts (NM) to have a perfect weekend in Las Vegas to overtake the league lead. The Texans made it a dramatic ending as they edged winless CESA 93 Premier (SC) with a Jordan Stiner stoppage time goal to take a 1-0 win and comfortable lead as Rush have three games to play.
