US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Region II representatives at national camps appear in BOLD

U.S. U-18 WNT ARRIVES AT THE HDC FOR SECOND CAMP OF 2011: The U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team has begun a training camp under the direction of April Heinrichs at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., that will run from March 12-19 as the squad gets together for its second event of the year. The majority of the 24 players in camp were born in 1994 with a few in 1993 and one in 1992. All are age-eligible for the U.S. U-20 Women's National Team that will attempt to qualify for the 2012 U-20 Women's World Cup in Uzbekistan.

U.S. U-17 WNT HOLDS TRAINING CAMP AT THE HOME DEPOT CENTER: The U.S. U-17 Women's National Team will come together for a training camp from March 20-27 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., under the direction of Jill Ellis. The camp will be held concurrently with the U.S. U-15 Girls' National Team training camp, which will also be run by Ellis, who has called in 24 players for this first U-17 event since the team played twice against the Germany U-17s in Florida in late January/early February. The U-17s defeated the Germans 3-1 and tied 2-2 in two games. The U-17s are in the early stages of preparation qualifying for the 2012 U-17 FIFA Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan.

U.S. U-15 GNT HEADS TO THE HDC FOR FIRST CAMP OF 2011: The U.S. Under-15 Girls' National Team will come together from March 20-27 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., for its first training camp of the year under the direction of Jill Ellis. Twenty-four players have been called up and are age eligible for spots on next year's U-17 Women's National Team that will attempt to qualify for the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan, which has an age cutoff date of players born on or after Jan. 1, 1995.
