Under-13 Boys: Warrior White (OH-S) 4-0 CSC Chargers (KY)
Warrior White defeated CSC Chargers 4-0, accomplishing two goals in the first half and two more in the second. The first goal by Jacob Schoening took place in the 13th minute of play, followed by Nolan Kiley’s 21st minute count. Matthew Eilerman and Jacob Schoening also contributed to the result with goals in the 47th and 50th minute.
Under-14 Boys: United Soccer Alliance of Indiana (IN) 1-0 LSFC Adidas Elite (MO)
Camden Gongwer boosted his United Soccer Alliance team to a 1-0 win over LSFC. The match saw a scoreless first half, and then Gongwer gave his team the game-winner in the 59th minute of play.
Under-15 Boys: SPSC SP/BD Fire (WI) 2-0 KCSC Blackstars (KS)
Alexander Graff came up big for his team, scoring a pair of goals to give SPSC a 2-0 win over the KCSC Blackstars. Graff wasted no time, as he stepped on field and swiftly gave SPSC the lead with his rapid 1st minute goal. His second goal came in the 39th minute, and SPSC’s defense contained the shutout for the entire second half.
Under-16 Boys: CE Black (OH-S) 3-0 Racine Utd. Red (WI)
Ohio South’s CE Black Team defeated Wisconsin’s Racine United 3-0. Joseph Tallarico quickly put CE Black in the lead by scoring in the 3rd minute. Peter Marth produced one more goal before halftime in the 37th minute, and Sheldon (Chewy) Gordon added a second half goal in the 62nd minute.
Under-17 Boys: Toca USL (KS) 1-0 Warrior 95 (OH-S)
Toca obtained a victory over Warrior 95. A goal in the 41st minute by Mitchell Fowler was the lone goal of the match, and Toca’s defense held strong the remainder of the game to claim a 1-0 win.
Under-13 Girls: MHK United (KS) 2-0 BSC Girls (KY)
MHK United and BSC played a scoreless first half, but MHK’s stronger second-half performance gave them a 2-0 win. Molly Smith broke the stalemate in the 45th minute, and Tessa Irvine also supported the win with a goal in the 70th minute.
Under-14 Girls: CUSC Premier Blue (IN) 1-0 KSA Gessner (KY)
CUSC Premier Blue and KSA Gessner entered halftime with a 0-0 score, but Julie Bennett produced quick results at the start of the second half, which ultimately gave CUSC a 1-0 win.
Under-15 Girls: SWISA Mutiny (IN) 0-0 Palatine Celtic Soccer Club - Select (IL)
The Under-15 Girls matchup between SWISA Mutiny and Palatine Celtic SC ended in a stalemate. Both teams battled it out for 80 minutes, but neither allowed the opposing team to get through their defense.
Under-16 Girls: SD United Legacy (SD) 0-0 LFC Red (KY)
The U-16 Girls matchup between South Dakota’s SD United Legacy and Kentucky’s LFC Red resulted in a 0-0 score. Both teams fought hard for 80 minutes, and eventually neither could make it pass the other’s firm wall.
Under-17 Girls: Tri City Storm Black (ND) 6-2 Libertyville Premier Orange (IL)
Tri City Storm defeated Libertyville Premier Orange in an exciting 6-2 match. Tri City got the first lead of the game with Jennifer Marsh’s 27th minute goal and her teammate Mackenzie Carlson added another goal in the 35th minute to close the first half. In the second half, Libertyville was first to score with Mikaela Winkler’s 48th minute goal, but TCS quickly responded when Jennifer Marsh scored again a minute later. Libertyville remained persistent and Chelsea Olson gave them another goal in the 62nd minute, but TCS finished stronger, scoring three more times with goals by Hannah Riveland, Anna Reinholz and Sydney Kramer.
