FRISCO, Texas (June 23, 2014) — US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in the nation, is pleased to announce a multi-year agreement welcoming Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Flavored Water Beverage as the Official Sponsor and Kids Ready to Drink Juice of US Youth Soccer.

The new partnership will include the introduction of the US Youth Soccer Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Skills Challenge, which will engage youth players ages six to twelve in 30 markets across the U.S. in a series of fun challenges in an exciting environment.  Individual players will have the chance to test their ability to execute several core soccer skills including speed, touch and accuracy.

“We are thrilled to partner with an organization like US Youth Soccer, which provides millions of kids the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the sport, including skills training, teamwork and being active,” said Greg Guidotti, Senior Director of Refreshment Beverages for Kraft. “The Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Skills Challenge will build on these core values and offer players even more opportunities to engage in this popular sport – and positively push the boundaries of their own soccer skills. With Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters found on soccer sidelines across the U.S., It’s a collaboration that just makes perfect sense.”

Introduced in 2006, Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters is a refreshing flavored water beverage within the Capri Sun family of products that contains no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and only 30 calories per serving. It’s a delicious choice for moms who want a low-calorie way for kids to stay hydrated*.

“We are excited to welcome Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters to the US Youth Soccer sponsor family,” said Jim Cosgrove, Executive Director of US Youth Soccer. “Today, many families operate on very busy schedules, which make having a variety of wholesome drink options beneficial to both soccer players and parents. Through this great partnership, Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters will offer another fun and active way to enjoy the game for our recreational players.”
