Overview
US Youth Soccer's online coaching education platform enhances the experience and opportunities of US Youth Soccer players, coaches and parents. The platform features read-at-your-own-pace pages, video and document downloads. Additional curriculum will be added as the platform expands to further meet the educational needs of all members of the youth soccer community.

Heads Up: Concussion in Sports Intro Course
To learn more about concussions take the CDC’s FREE "Heads Up! Online Training for Youth Sports Coaches." This training will help you with a basic understanding of concussion. Simply go online and take the self-guided training. Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league or school that you have completed this intro course offered by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) and US Youth Soccer.
Parents Guide and Introduction to Youth Soccer
The guide is designed to assist parents new to the game of soccer in growing the spirit without limiting the child. Chapters cover information from the basics of youth soccer and making a positive impact on children to roles of coaches and referees to lending support to your child.

U6-U8 Youth Coaching Module
This course, conducted with your US Youth Soccer State Association, has an online section and an on-field event. Both must be completed in order to fulfill the course requirements. This course focuses on age specific knowledge for U6-U8 players such as the rules of the game, characteristics of the U6-U8 players and coaching techniques for this age group.

U10-U12 Youth Coaching Module
The U10-U12 course takes the successful U6-U8 course and adapts it for coaches with older players. Adaptations include: Rule changes, characteristics of U10-U12 players and coaching approaches for players in this age group.
