FRISCO, Texas (April 14, 2014) – El Paso, Texas will host the Kohl’s US Youth Soccer American Cup, the largest recreational youth soccer tournament in the United States, at Westside Sports Complex on May2-4. The Under-6 through Under-19 boys and girls participating will bring together 200 teams for the annual Kohl’s American Cup held in El Paso.

The Kohl’s American Cup offers youth soccer players an opportunity to play in a high-quality tournament in a fun, family-like atmosphere. The program was started in 2000 as an avenue to highlight recreational soccer players and promote fair play. Players receive equal opportunities and benefits within their level of play, with an emphasis on participation, rather than competition.

The Kohl’s American Cup Kid Zone will add even more excitement to the El Paso Kohl’s American Cup. The Kid Zone comes complete with four brand new larger-than-life soccer inflatables and games and also includes numerous prizes and souvenirs for participants and their families.

This event is one of 45 Kohl’s American Cup tournaments being held from March to December. All tournaments are open to players registered with a US Youth Soccer State Association recreational league.
