Good sportsmanship starts with respecting your opponents. Remember: without opponents, there would be no game at all!

Respecting opponents is something that both parents and coaches hope kids learn while participating in youth sports. But what does one do to show respect for opponents?

View the slideshow from Liberty Mutual Insurance Play Positive™ on the Top 10 Ways you and your youth athlete can respect opponents before, during and after a game.

At Liberty Mutual Insurance, we constantly look for ways to celebrate the countless acts of sportsmanship and integrity shown by people every day. We created Play Positive™ as part of this belief to help ensure that our kids experience the best that sports have to offer in environments that promote and display good sportsmanship. We believe kids can learn valuable life lessons when coaches and parents come together to support winning on and off the field.
