WESTFIELD, Ind. (June 18, 2016) - The 2016 US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup wrapped up preliminary games, and the final matches are in place for Sunday, June 19, in Westfield, Ind.

The tournament's remaining Boys and Girls teams, in the Under-13 through Under-17 age groups from US Youth Soccer Region II (Midwest) are one step closer to advancing to the 2016 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. As regional champions will be crowned on Sunday, they will move forward to the National Presidents Cup, which will take place July 14-17 in Tulsa, Okla.

As Indiana Soccer is the host for the event, the other 13 State Associations represented include Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio North, Ohio South, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels. The Presidents Cup provides teams with a progressive, competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.

Of the teams who will be competing for Presidents Cup regional titles in Sunday's final matches, there are eight teams from Illinois, four from Ohio South, four from Indiana, two from Missouri and one team each from Wisconsin and South Dakota.

There are nine teams with three straight wins from the preliminary games. These teams include Under-13 boys FC United Select 1 02/03 Copa (IL), Under-13 girls SBW Alliance (IL), Under-14 girls Eclipse Elite USYSA 20 (IL), Under-15 boys Ela Elite (IL), Under-15 girls FC United Select 2 (IL), Under-16 boys Boilers FC Gold (IN), Under-17 boys FC42 (OH-S), Under-17 girls teams KC Prime Academy (MO) and Roadrunners (IL).
