2016 US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup to Kick Off in Westfield, Ind.

WESTFIELD, Ind. (June 15, 2016) - The 2016 US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup is just one day away from preliminary games as the tournament will begin on Thursday, June 16, at Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, Ind.

The tournament will feature over 80 US Youth Soccer Region II (Midwest) teams in the Under-13 through Under-17 age groups competing for a regional title and a berth to the 2016 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 14-17 in Tulsa, Okla.

Preliminary games will take place from Thursday, June 16 through Saturday, June 18. Semifinals for the Under-13 and Under-14 girls groups will also take place on June 18. Regional champions will be crowned following final matches on Sunday, June 19.

Indiana Soccer will host the event, and the other 13 State Associations represented include Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio North, Ohio South, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels. The Presidents Cup provides teams with a progressive, competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.
