Description:

Overview: The Club Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Coaching in the day-to-day operations of the Club.

Reports to: Director of Coaching (DOC)

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with general bookkeeping and expense allocation
  • Communicate and implement Board policies and procedures throughout the Club
  • Coordinate procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment to meet the Club’s needs
  • Procure expense reports and make travel arrangements for the Club
  • Assist in developing, organizing, and administering the Club’s recreational program and soccer camps
  • Assist the Tournament Director developing, organizing, and administering Club tournaments
  • Assist with securing playing schedules, leagues, and playing space for Club teams
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Club by working with the registrar, player account manager, grounds keeper, scheduler, team managers, committees, and other club staff as required
  • Assist the DOC with making weather cancellation determinations
  • Assist with general Club communicate to members, coaches, and staff using a variety of methods including electronic, social media and website updates
  • Represent the Club at functions, meetings, and events as directed by the DOC
  • Provide monthly reporting on Club performance & issues, and recommendations on policy and risk management
  • In partnership with staff, DOC and the BOD assist with preparation of a comprehensive budget and operating plan for the Club
  • Contribute content for the Club website and social media
  • Champion the value and reach of the Club to surrounding communities and potential partners with the goal of expanding membership
  • Assist with conflict resolution between parents and coaches
  • Other duties as required by the DOC

Qualifications

  • College degree or Soccer Club administration preferred
  • USSF “D” or NSCAA equivalent required (or within 8 months)
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities 
  • Excellent communication and dispute resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to relate to and motivate youth and adults
  • Committed to working a non-traditional work schedule
  • Proven computer skills, including ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, registration, website management programs and social media
  • Ability to contribute and execute with the leadership and other staff a vision for the future success of the club

Requirements

  • Regularly attend staff and BOD meetings
  • Assist with planning and presentations during the Club’s Annual General Meeting
  • Occasional travel is required

Performance Metrics:

  • Perform job responsibilities and assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Provide monthly program performance reports to DOC and BOD
  • Provide monthly written inventory reports

Job Type and Compensation:

  • Salary: Entry level salary is $33,000 annually or greater depending on experience
  • Full Time or Part Time
